For a while now I have been talking about my book: Inspirations by Robinicole.
I would love to share my first excerpt with you ! I will be posting  FREE mp3 downloads of the the audio book as well!
True Lies
Today I woke up with an interesting thought. What if everything around you that was your ‘truth’ was in reality a lie? What if where you “lie”, who you “lie” with, what you do, who you hang with, who you trust and who you chose to be around was a lie. I know, that’s a very interesting thing to wrap your mind around but I decided to try it on for size and think about it.
There was once a time in my life when ‘true lies’ were all around me. When I constantly struggled to ‘make it do what it do’ and force things that didn’t fit I discovered that I was truly depleted and deep in my heart sincerely unhappy. I woke up one day and realized that I was running on fumes.

Unfortunately, my luck ran out and everything that ‘I’ thought was going to be ‘perfect’, turned out to be a mirage, a decoy, a lie.
Ever think about what happens when we are so afraid to be our true authentic selves that we become ineffective in expressing who we really are and how we really feel? It becomes a ‘oh that’s just her way, or that’s just how he do’… When in actuality it’s a cry for help trapped in an excuse.

Many times we get caught up in ‘what it looks like’ but think about this; If you have do all of this to get people to ‘bite’ or to ‘notice’ what you have to offer, then it already  (in it’s foundation) has become a lie. When God gives us things, blessings, miracles and the like you get it free and clear with no strings attached.
Problem is when it’s not in the package we want it to be in we kick it to the curb expecting God to still bless the trash that we try to insist on making a treasure.  That never seems to work and the bottom will fall out EVERY SINGLE TIME with out fail. God makes certain promises that are clear in his word every time. When it comes to family, love, marriage and success there are rules, rules that ensure victory every time if we follow them properly. I didn’t say that they were easy and free of tribulation and I certainly didn’t say that I was the authority on them either, but what I am saying is solid.

If the desires of your heart remain elusive and you keep doing what you always end up doing, they will continue to remain elusive. Sometimes something so simple can change everything like practicing forgiveness, or maybe even letting go not being concerned about what you look like to others or what they have to say… and what about maybe surrendering everything you’ve worked hard for and giving it back to God and saying “God if I worked toward this for 50 years and it never happens the way I thought it should, I will love you anyway and be just as happy with it or with out it. I don’t have to ‘look’ like a baller, I don’t have to ‘dance’ and do what superficial people ask of me, I don’t have to engage in ‘frivolity’ because who you are and how you bless me is real, sufficient and better than I imagined anyway”.

Because there is one thing for certain about a lie; a lie is a lie and the TRUTH ain’t in it.

34 Ways Foundation was founded in 2002 as a support organization to provide guidance and encouragement to children through football camps, activities and programs. The foundation desires to enrich communities and inner cities by providing fun and edifying opportunities to youth ages 11- 18.

The standing motto of 34 Ways Foundation is “Teach, Reach and Educate Youth 4 Life!” This goal oriented message is a simple one in that it inspires and motivates the community to encourage youth to attain their goals.
